How we work
The tool first. Then the explanation.
Most utility pages bury a small calculator under six advertisements and tell you nothing about the method. We do it the other way round: the tool loads at the top and works immediately, and below it sits a proper account of how the answer was reached.
Definitions come from primary sources — the international agreements fixing the inch at 25.4 mm and the troy ounce at 31.1034768 g, the WHO’s BMI bands, current NIST password guidance, the WCAG contrast thresholds. Where authorities disagree, we say so.
Nothing is uploaded
Every calculation runs in your browser. We have no record of what you typed because it never reaches us.
Formulas in the open
Each page states the equation it uses and works an example, so you can check the result by hand.
Fast on any connection
No frameworks and no layout shift. Pages weigh tens of kilobytes and install as an app if you want them to.
Limits stated plainly
Where a tool approximates — BMI, indicative prices, numerology — the page says so instead of implying precision.
