Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to information when you visit Tiger Tools (tigerholdings.org), published by Tiger Holdings. The short version: the tools run entirely in your browser, we have no accounts, and we do not receive the values you type.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details or any account information, because nothing on this site requires an account. Every calculator, converter and text utility executes locally in your browser. The numbers, words and text you enter are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to us or stored on our servers.

Information collected automatically

Like almost all websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp and referring page — for security, abuse prevention and performance diagnostics. These logs are retained for a short period by the provider and are not used to build profiles of individuals.

Local storage on your device

Some features remember preferences using your browser’s localStorage: your light or dark theme choice, the tools you have starred as favourites, and the tools you used most recently. This data stays on your device, is readable only by this site, and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser storage removes it permanently.

Cookies and advertising

This site is free to use and is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense.

Analytics

Where analytics are enabled, they are configured to measure aggregate page performance and popularity only. We do not use analytics to identify individuals, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.

Third-party data sources

The gold, silver and currency pages request market data, and the word tools request dictionary data, directly from third-party providers. Those requests are made by your browser, so the provider necessarily sees your IP address and their own privacy practices apply. We do not send them anything else about you.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or UK, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection over personal data held about you. If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you rights to know, delete and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it. Because we hold no accounts and no submitted inputs, in practice there is usually nothing for us to retrieve or erase, but you are welcome to ask: email hello@tigerholdings.org and we will respond within 30 days.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because we do not collect or store personal data, the surface for a data breach involving your information is minimal by design.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and will revise the date at the top. Material changes will be summarised at the top of the page for a period after they take effect.
